Terms & conditions

How Navalyst POS is offered to restaurants, staff, and the guests who open a public menu. Last updated 19 September 2026.

  1. 01

    Who these terms are for

These terms govern the Navalyst POS website, demo, and software: floor orders, kitchen display, stock, bills, reports, and the public QR / online menu guests use to order.

If you create an account or use a restaurant workspace, you accept these terms. If you only browse a restaurant’s public menu, that restaurant’s own house rules apply to your order; these terms still cover how that menu is hosted.

  2. 02

    The service

Navalyst POS is a multi-tenant point of sale. Each restaurant (a “workspace”) keeps its own menu, tables, tickets, stock, and bills. Staff sign in to run the floor. Guests do not need an account to scan a table QR, view a menu, or place a pay-at-venue order.

Features can include dine-in, takeaway, and delivery tickets; kitchen status; recipes and stock movements; invoices; a public menu; and optional premium restaurant website tools. What you actually get depends on the plan and flags on your workspace.

The interactive “try a shift” demo on the marketing site is a dummy table. It does not create a real order or account.

  3. 03

    Accounts and staff

You must keep login details confidential and only give access to people who should run that workspace. Owners are responsible for staff accounts, roles, and what those people do in the system.

You must give accurate details when you request a demo, open a workspace, or keep subscription and contact fields up to date.

  4. 04

Your restaurant’s content and guest orders

You own and are responsible for your menu, prices, taxes, photos, opening hours, and any copy on your public pages. You must have the right to publish that material.

Guest orders collect a name and phone (and an address for delivery) so the ticket can be found and fulfilled. You are the controller of that guest data. You must use it only to run the order and follow the privacy and consumer rules that apply to your venue.

Navalyst POS does not take card, eSewa, Khalti, or other online payments from guests. Pay-at-venue and cash-on-delivery are instructions to your staff, not a payment we process. You remain responsible for charging, invoicing, and tax.

  5. 05

    Acceptable use

Do not probe, scrape, or overload the service; try to access another workspace; or use the public menu to spam or harass. Do not upload unlawful content or sell goods you are not allowed to sell.

We may suspend a workspace that threatens the service, other tenants, or guests, and we may rotate or invalidate table QR tokens when a code is leaked or abused.

  6. 06

    Plans, trials, and limits

Workspaces may sit on a trial or a paid subscription, with caps on items, orders, or other resources. If a subscription lapses, access can be restricted until it is renewed. Fees, if any, are as agreed when the workspace is set up or as shown in the product.

Booking a demo does not by itself create a paid contract. We may decline or postpone a demo request.

  7. 07

    Availability

The floor app is built to keep taking tickets when the network drops and to sync when it returns. That does not mean uninterrupted service. Hosting, browsers, printers, and your own devices can fail. Do not rely on Navalyst POS as the only record of a sale if you need a statutory backup.

We may change, pause, or retire features. We will try to keep the floor and kitchen usable when we do.

  8. 08

    Intellectual property

Navalyst POS, the marketing site, and the software remain ours (or our licensors’). You keep your menu, logos, and order data. You grant us a limited licence to host and display that material so the product can work — including showing your public menu to guests who open the link or QR.

  9. 09

    Liability

The service is provided as available. We do not promise a particular sales result, kitchen time, or that a guest’s phone will always reach your ticket.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Navalyst POS is not liable for lost profits, lost stock accuracy, or indirect loss from downtime, a missed KOT, a guest order, or a billing mistake in your workspace. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us for that workspace in the three months before the claim (or NPR 0 if you were on a free trial).

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including fraud.

  10. 10

    Ending the service

You can stop using Navalyst POS at any time. We can close or suspend a workspace for breach, non-payment, or if we stop offering the product. After closure, we may delete workspace data after a reasonable retention period unless the law requires us to keep it.

  11. 11

    Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. If a change is material, we will note it on this page.

  12. 12

    Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Courts in Kathmandu have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief elsewhere to protect the service.

Questions about these terms: use Book a demo on the Navalyst POS homepage, or sign in and send a support request from your workspace.
